BUDGET LUMBER OF ROSEBURG PRESENTS:
MAY 10th

With rain clouds looming overhead drivers and fans alike made their way to the Grove Saturday night. As the clouds threatened to spill their contents on the track drivers and fans alike crossed their fingers and hoped for the best. The rain scare turned out to be a false alarm as the races got underway. The initial crowd of die-hard fans willing to gut any kind of weather out quickly grew as the sounds of the cars going around the track signaled that the Grove was indeed racing.


The All American Street Stocks Main featured the first of two different trends for the night, first time winners and ladies winning the main event. April Howard was able to find the winning path Saturday night to start both trends.


Continuing the trend for the ladies was Brandi Bounds in the Limited Sprints Main. Bounds drove to victory for the 3rd time in four weeks, signaling that she is indeed the early season front-runner for class champion.


Continuing a trend of his own, Jesse Williams won his second Main event of the season as well as grabbing wins in his heat race, trophy dash and picking up fast time for the night in the Modifieds class.


Shane Forte battled hard with Kyle Miller and was able to grab the victory in the 360 Sprint Main. The win marked Forte's first career victory as a 360 driver.


In the Late Models Main, Greg Walters was able to best the field of 20+ drivers on his way to his second Pacific Trak Crate Late Model Series win of the season
