As the month of June nears an end the racing season has finally started to settle in and take shape. No longer is the weather a primary concern come raceday (we hope) as the forecasts are starting to look more and more like a typical Oregon summer. Lots of drivers this year have earned first-time victories and some of the fresher-faced drivers have started to show they belong with multiple victories as well as some (very) healthy standings in the points race. While summer is just beginning, the racing season is well underway as drivers are doing their best to move up in the standings every week.

Brandi Bounds was again the talk of the track Saturday night as she pulled away with her fifth victory of the season in the Limited Sprints Main Event. The race itself as very clean as the caution flags were kept at bay until the 20th lap of the race. Nate Morelock followed Bounds with a second place finish to keep the youth brigade well represented on the podium.

Caution flags seemed to be rather shy in the AASS Main Event as well, as there was only one early-race yellow flag. Kolby Clay piloted a tough race to secure his first win of the season with. Ross Denton snuck into second place after Clay and T.J. Hardy had a tussle for the lead position which left Hardy off the podium altogether in the aftermath.

The Modified Main Event was wide open racing as Breth Muth, Craig Hanson and Don Muth Jr. all took turns with the lead, however, it was Aaron Sheelar who found himself in first as the race ended to seal the victory. Muth Jr. was able to secure second place amongst all the swapping.

Don Muth Sr. and Craig Hanson battled most of the race for the lead position in the Late Model Main Event. Hanson was able to pull away from Muth Sr. in lapped traffic to secure his second win leaving Muth Sr. to finish second.

The 360 Sprint Main Event featured a showdown between Brendan Boyce and Marvin Smith as they jockeyed for position. Once again, lapped traffic proved to be the difference as Boyce was able to leave Smith behind on his way to his first victory of the season.
