Cottage Grove, Oregon- This weekend will be extremely busy at Cottage Grove Speedway. Starting with Friday May 30th the Kage Karts will get their 2014 campaign started. On Saturday the 31st it will be the rescheduled date for the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic and also Aesthetic Surgical Arts will be presenting Ladies Night. Classes in action on Saturday will include the Huddle Automotive Repair 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Roger Crockett has won the only non-sanctioned Huddle Automotive Repair 360 Sprint race while Seth Bergman swept the ASCS-Northwest Region weekend last Saturday and Sunday. Braedon Hand leads the 2014 win column in IMCA Modified action with two wins over Mark Wauge’s one. The same can be said for the Hornets with Taunton Swaim picking up two wins while K.C. Scott has a non-point victory. In the Street Stocks Justin Evans has won both events so far this year.

General admission to the Kart race on Friday will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $35.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 3:00 PM and the Pit Meeting is at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps and Racing to follow.

Also on Saturday the first two-hundred ladies over the age of eighteen through the ticket gate will receive a FREE goodie bag. Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and Racing starts at 6:45. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
