Evan Britton Wins Street Stock Race #4 Of 2014 At CGS

While the Wild West Modified Speedweek rolled into town on Tuesday July 22nd the Street Stocks would be the support class. The entire night would produce some great racing.
Dave Kinzer from Bend would lead early in the Ethan Landers owned Swam & Sons Woodworking/Smart Solutions/Les Schwab Tires of Bend #17Z Camaro. Kinzer tried to maintain the lead but Evan Britton of Cottage Grove would overtake him on lap two. Britton would dominate the rest of the day en route to his fourth win of 2014 for the Dot’s Trophy Shop/Ollivant Timber Salvage/D&L Truck Parts/Gilkison & Dad Inc. #85 Nova.
Dave Kinzer would finish in second while in third was Cottage Grove’s Mark Henderson in the Henderson Racing #0 Nova. Street Stocks will be back in action at Cottage Grove on Saturday July 26th for Armed Forces Night. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com and click “Fan Info”.
