Cottage Grove, Oregon- This Saturday May 2nd Cottage Grove Speedway will be back in action for the fourth race of the season. The 1/4-mile clay oval will host the extremely popular Fan Appreciation Night presented by Huddle Automotive Repair. Classes in action include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Once all of the heat race action has concluded all of the cars in the pits will come out on the front stretch so fans can interact with their favorite drivers. The night will feature a full racing program.

In two 360 Sprint events in 2015 there have been two different winners. California teenager Michael Kofoid won the first race of the season back on April 4th while Washington's Trey Starks was triumphant in the Western Sprint Tour event last Friday on the 24th. Will a Oregon driver win for the first time in the 360's at CGS this year?

In just one IMCA Modified race that has been completed Jesse Williamson was the big winner on April 4th. Expect to see a great car count for the Modifieds and a great race as the drivers battle one another lap after lap.

Curtis Towns has been undefeated in Late Model competition after winning the first three Late Model race of the season for car owner Paul Culp. It's a great start for Towns this year. Will that streak continue or will it be broken this Saturday night?

The Street Stocks have had two races have had two different winners. Steve Dubisar was the winner on April 18th and Chris Sine won on the last lap on Friday the 24th. Will a third different winner emerge after Saturday night?

Like the Street Stocks the Quality RV Repair Hornets also have had two races and also have had two different winners. Joe Maricle won night one back on April 4th while Dan Jenkinson was the winner of the Salute To Melvin Walker on the April 18th.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $30.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
