Cottage Grove, Oregon- When the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series visit Cottage Grove Speedway this Saturday there will be one driver determined to pick up the win. Ron Brewster of Redmond has had a pretty good start to his 2015 season. On May 9th he'll look to put his Central Oregon Trucking/Driving Force Graphics/W.W. Trailers/Öhlins by JDR #31B Rocket in victory lane.

“The season has went pretty well in all,” said Brewster, “I set fast time and won the heat in the first race at Sunset (Speedway Park) a couple of weeks ago.”

Ron would get into the wall during the trophy dash at that same race at Banks, on April 25th, and would finish the feature eighth after breaking while running third. Last week he would participate in local competition on Saturday May 2nd at Madras Speedway and would win the main event along with the trophy dash.

“We're having fun learning,” he would continue, “Cottage Grove will be a real test for our program because there is going to be a lot of good cars there.”

The Cottage Grove Speedway local Late Models will be competing against the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series which is sure to produce some wonderful racing. Other classes on hand are the Northwest Wingless Tour, IMCA Modifieds, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets.
