Cottage Grove, Oregon- The fourth stop of the Wild West Modified Shootout will be at Cottage Grove Speedway on Tuesday June 16th. This event will feature some of the best drivers in the Western United States and teams from all over the country will be in action. The best part is $25.00 will get a car, truck, or RV load full of fans into the races. The support division is the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Racing is scheduled to get started at the normal time which is around 6:45.

Already this season Jesse Williamson and Kinzer Cox have won twice in main event competition. Braedon Hand, Jason Kocks, and Curtis Towns each have one win to their credit. CGS has hosted four Wild West Modified Shootout events with four different winners being produced. Last year Alex Stanford and Nick Trenchard won once over the two day race while in 2012 it was Scott Lenz and in 2011 Jesse Williamson. Sadly the 2013 event was lost to weather.

Joe Maricle is having a sensational campaign in the Quality RV Repair Hornets. He is the only repeat winner over the course of the current season with four visits to victory lane. Drivers with one win include Jim Simmons, Josh Corley, Brandon Letsom, and Dan Jenkinson.

Friday June 19th will see the return of the Kage Karts at CGS for race three of 2015. General Admission to the race is FREE and action starts around 6:30ish.

Saturday June 20th will be Retro T-Shirt Night which means anyone that wears a Cottage Grove Speedway t-shirt will receive $2.00 off their admission. Classes on the card include the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $35.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
