Brandon Letsom Picks Up Second Quality RV Repair Hornet Win Of 2015

Also in action on Tuesday June 16th at Cottage Grove Speedway was the Quality RV Repair Hornets. They would play the role of the support division to the IMCA Modifieds. They would have a strong contingent of eighteen cars in attendance for the rare midweek appearance.

Marcola's Brandon Letsom would seize the race lead on lap one in his Letsom Racing #23 Toyota Echo. He would be besieged by several cars trying to take the position from him but managed to keep them all in check. By the end of the race Brandon Letsom would be victorious to win his second race of 2015.

The Rapid Delivery Service/Bigg Dogg Recycling/DT Machine & Fab #48 entry of Mike Swaim, of Dexter, was second while behind in third would be the Dr. Vape Products/Quantum Mechanics/Big B Tire #30 Mazda Protege of Springfield's K.C. Scott. Marcel Forte, from Junction City, ended his evening fourth in the Junction City Muffler Shop/Guaranty Chevrolet/Twisted Bit Arena #23F Nissan Centra followed by the Randy Kuhl owned More of Everything Racing Collectibles/Bigg Dogg Recycling/DT Machine & Fab/A-1 Auto Supply #17 Toyota Tacoma of Dexter's Tauton Swaim in fifth.

Cottage Grove Speedway returns to action on Friday June 19th for the third Kage Kart race of the season. Then Saturday, the 20th, will be T-Shirt Night at CGS. This means if you wear a Cottage Grove Speedway t-shirt or sweatshirt into the races you get $2.00 off your admission. Classes in action on Saturday include the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

General Admission to the Kart race on Friday is FREE and action starts around 6:30ish. Admission prices for Saturday are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $35.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
