Cottage Grove, Oregon- Saturday June 27th is the next event for Cottage Grove Speedway and it will be Cottage Grove Area Chamber Of Commerce Night. It should be a wonderful evening racing full of action and excitement. Classes in action include the Northwest Wingless Tour, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets.

The Northwest Wingless Tour has visited CGS just once this year. In that lone trip Kyle Miller simply dominated leaving just a handful of cars on the lead lap.

The IMCA Modifieds are coming off of a very busy Wild West Modified Shootout. Picking up the Mod Speedweek victory to bring his total of wins to three Jesse Williamson also managed to capture his third career Wild West Modified Shootout title. Kinzer Cox has won twice while Curtis Towns, Braedon Hand, and Jason Kocks are one time winners in 2015.

Chris Sine is still in dominant form in the Street Stock division. He has managed to win the last six consecutive feature at the historic 1/4-mile clay oval. Will his amazing winning streak come to an end? The only other driver to win this year is Steve Dubisar who was victorious just once.

Finally the Quality RV Repair Hornets are ready to rock and roll after a week off. Joe Maricle has posted the most wins with his four victories while Brandon Letsom has visited the winner's circle twice. Josh Corley, Dan Jenkinson, and Jim Simmons all have won once.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45. Be sure and keep up to date with the latest news and information on CGS by logging on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com or call the Northwest Track Hotline at (360)-699-RACE.
