Cottage Grove, Oregon- On Saturday August 8th Cottage Grove Speedway will be taking a night to reflect their rich multi-decade history of racing at the famed 1/4-mile clay oval for the annual Historical Night. The Class of 2015 will be inducted into the Hall Of Fame and tons of historical memorabilia will be on display for fans to look at. Classes in action include the 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Quality RV Repair Hornets.

Before any of the racing gets started on Saturday there will be Kage Kart racing on Friday August 7th. General admission to the Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $35.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 3:00 PM and the Pit Meeting is at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps and Racing to follow.

The 360 Sprints have not been in action since Independence Day over a month ago. Roger Crockett has three wins this year while Trey Starks has put together two trips to victory lane. Single race winners include Kyler Barraza, Jason Solwold, Justyn Cox, and Michael Kofoid.

In the Late Models Curtis Towns made a reappearance in the winner's circle after a brief absence. He has managed to win six features in the current campaign. Jesse Williamson is the only other multi-main event with his three triumphs. Bricen James, Justin Duty, Joey Tanner, and Brady Sell are all one-time winners.

In the IMCA Modifieds Jesse Williamson has put together four wins in the class which leads him over the rest of the competition. Curtis Towns and Kinzer Cox each have two victories while Jason Kocks, Braedon Hand, Jake Mayden, and Mark Carrell have won once.

In the Street Stocks Chris Sine leads the charge with an amazing six wins. Evan Britton, Steve Dubisar, and last week's Wallbanger Cup winner Kyle Yeack have one triumph each.

After a little bit of time off the Quality RV Repair Hornets are back at it. Joe Maricle still has the most wins, with four, but Brandon Letsom is starting to catch up with his three trips to the winner's circle. Drivers to have won once include K.C. Scott, Daniel Ray, Josh Corely, Dan Jenkinson, and Jim Simmons.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $30.00.
