With the World of Outlaws in action at Cottage Grove Speedway on Wednesday September 9th the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints would be on the card as the support class. It would be the third race in ten days for the division as they have been quite busy lately. Fourteen drivers signed in representing the states of Oregon, Washington, California, and Massachusetts.

Orion Redmond of Roseburg was the early race leader of the main event. Redmond, in his Redmond Trucking/Umpqua Sand & Gravel/Double R Powdercoating/Ken's Dry Cleaning #12 J&J, would lose the lead on lap four. The AKR Racing/Home Insulation of Roseburg/LeRoy Bellor & Sons Trucking #8 Hurricane of Anthony Pope, also from Roseburg, would be the new pace setter and was in search of his first career win. Pope managed to keep all of the challengers behind but his motor would blow up on lap eleven shortly after a restart.

Monroe, Washington's Jake Helsel would inherit the spot. Helsel was able to stay out in front the rest of the distance by a healthy margin to pick up the victory. It was the third CGS start for Helsel and the DeYoung Inc./Superior Powdercoating/Outdoor Synergy Composits/Speedmart Inc. #44 Rocket.

Bricen James, from Albany, would finish second in the Tim Galloway owned Myers Logging/James Gang Pizza #51 KPC followed by the Bi-Mart/Three Rivers Casino/Brook's Cut Rate Auto Parts/BC Motorsports #70 XXX of Eugene's Raquel Ivie. Completing the top five finishing order was Allison Journey in fourth, now residing in Boston, Massachusetts, in her Journey Built Homes/Stone Works International Masonry/Power Punch Lubricants/Eckstine Powdercoating #4J KPC while the O'Reilly Auto Parts/K-1 Race Gear #25S XXX of Camden Robustelli from Medford was fifth.
