Cottage Grove Speedway will be hosting a kick ball game for charity on Saturday May 31st. The game will be held in the parking lot of the race track and will be begin at 10:00 AM. There will be two teams in competition with one team comprised of former drivers while another will be made up of current drivers. It’s free to come out and watch but we encourage and will be accepting donations. Several items will be auctioned in between the innings that are open for anyone to bid on. All donations and proceeds will go to the Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation benefiting kids with illnesses to have their dreams of attending racing events across the country a possibility. After the kick ball game there will be a barbecue for everyone to enjoy.

Also for folks that want to be a part of the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic by sponsoring a lap this is your last chance and there are only four whole laps left. Prices for half of a lap are $41.00 while an entire lap is $82.00.

Classes in action on Saturday May 31st include the Huddle Automotive Repair 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets. Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and Racing starts at 6:45. Also on Saturday the first two-hundred ladies over the age of eighteen will receive a FREE goodie bag.
