Cottage Grove Speedway
4TH ANNUAL MARVIN SMITH MEMORIAL GROVE CLASSIC – 3 DAYS OF RACING MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!
The race we all wait all year for is back this weekend at Cottage Grove Speedway, the 4th Annual Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic.
The weekend’s events will kick off Friday with a kage kart race and pre-party for all the drivers and crews!
Saturday things will start to heat up as 360 sprint teams from all over the country and Canada make their way to Cottage Grove. Middlefield Golf Course will treat the drivers to a golf tournament Saturday morning and then they will get down to business for the first night of racing. Late Models and Street Stocks will also be on hand Saturday.
Sunday morning starts off with a pancake breakfast and meet and greet with the drivers at the track. Quality RV Hornets and Mohawk Metal IMCA Modifieds join the 360 Sprint Cars Sunday and things get even hotter! It all comes down to a 41-lap main event with a $4100.00 paycheck as we pay tribute to the one and only Marvin Smith.
Will Jason Solwold win for the 3rd consecutive year? Will Henry Van Dam take the title back? Or will someone new take the coveted trophy and title this year? Don’t miss a second of the action as we find out who will be the 2017 “Marvin Champion”!!
