Kyle Yeack Wins Fourth Straight Wallbanger Cup; Coffell And Osborne Collect CGS Kid Night Wins

Cottage Grove, Oregon- In addition to the Interstate Sprint Car Series in attendance at Cottage Grove Speedway on Saturday, June 23rd three other classes were on the card. The biggest Street Stock race of the year, the Wallbanger Cup, would attract an incredible count of cars while the Late Models and the Quality RV Repair Hornets were also in action.
Kyle Yeack, of Lebanon, would score the Wallbanger Cup in the Street Stock ranks. It is his fourth consecutive win for the event. Darren Coffell, of Bend, would collect the win in the Late Models while Creswell’s Graig Osborne parked it in victory lane for the fourth straight occasion in the Quality RV Repair Hornets.
Cottage Grove Speedway has two dates with the Wild West Modified Shootout, Monday June 25th and Tuesday the 26th, before Karts invade the track on Friday, the 29th, and the ¼-mile clay oval gets back to normal racing on the 30th. Classes in action for June 30th include the Todd’s Auto Body Sprints, Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and Quality RV Repair Hornets.
