Josh Corley Dominates Tuesday Hornet Race At Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Quality RV Repair Hornets would play the role of the support class on Tuesday, June 26th at Cottage Grove Speedway. Eleven drivers from the states of Oregon and Washington would comprise of the starting lineup.
Max Sandford, from Belfair, Washington, got out to the lead early in the main event. Sanford possessed the position until lap three when Josh Corley made it around him. Corley, now residing in Oakridge, would build a comfortable lead throughout the course of the feature. He would go on to win his fourth victory of 2018.
Graig Osborne, of Creswell, was second over third finishing Brad Moffatt, from Eugene. Springfield’s K.C. Scott got fourth and behind him, in fifth, was Eugene chauffeur Matt Ferguson.
This weekend Cottage Grove Speedway will have the Karts invade the track on Friday, the 29th, and the ¼-mile clay oval gets back to regular racing on the 30th. Classes in action for June 30th include the Todd’s Auto Body Sprints, Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and Quality RV Repair Hornets.
