Thompson, Luckman, Braaten, Schmidt, And E. Ashley Get CGS Ladies Night Wins

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway would host Ladies Night on Saturday, June 30th. Five classes would be in attendance along with a full pit area. The Todd’s Auto Body Sprints, Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and Quality RV Repair Hornets were all in action.
Harrisburg’s Tyler Thompson would win his second Todd’s Auto Body Sprint Car feature of the season. Preston Luckman, of Coos Bay, made it back to the winner’s circle in the Late Models to make it his third trip of 2018. Central Point native Jorddon Braaten would be victorious on the second occasion at CGS in the IMCA Sport Mods.
David Schmidt, from Junction City, parked it in the winner’s circle for the first time this season in the Street Stocks. The same would be said for Jasper driver Eric Ashley, racing for car owner Randy Kuhl, in the Quality RV Repair Hornets.
Cottage Grove Speedway returns to racing on Independence Day this Wednesday, July 4th. Classes in action include the Todd’s Auto Body Sprints, Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. The night will be capped off with a massive fireworks display.
