12th Annual Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic Returns May 23rd & 24th
The biggest 360 Sprint Car race in Oregon is back as the 12th Annual Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic returns to Cottage Grove Speedway on May 23rd & 24th for two huge nights of racing action honoring the legacy of Marvin Smith.
Fans can expect an incredible weekend featuring the Northwest’s best 360 Sprint Cars battling for one of the most prestigious victories of the season. Joining the action both nights will be the Limited/305 Sprints and Willamette Valley Motoplex Late Models, making this one of the premier racing events of the year in Oregon.
This special event is more than just racing — it’s a celebration of family, friends, and the racing community that Marvin Smith loved so deeply. We invite everyone to come out and help us honor his memory during an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend tradition.

Pit Gate Opens: 2:00 PM
Spectator Gates Open: 4:30 PM
Hot Laps & Qualifying: 5:30 PM
Racing Begins: 6:30 PM

Driver & Crew Activities
Following Saturday night’s races, drivers and crews are invited to stay for pizza and cornhole after the races. Then join us Sunday morning for biscuits and gravy breakfast as we wrap up another memorable Marvin Smith Memorial weekend.
