Cottage Grove, Oregon- Kicking off this busy Memorial Day Weekend at the Cottage Grove Speedway will be the Karts on Friday May 24th. It will mark the second race for the program in 2013.

Blake Boshart was the winner in Pee Wee action while the 5 Horse Power class saw Talyn Roberts pick up the victory. Kyle Roles earned the win in the first 125cc feature and so did Tyler Thompson in the 250cc division. Winning the first Open Kage main event was Kyle Alberding.

General admission to the Friday Kart event will be FREE of charge. Pit passes are $10.00 and car and driver fees will be $35.00. The pit gates open up around 4:00 PM and racing is scheduled to begin around 6:45.

The Cottage Grove Speedway Karts have provided several stars of both the ¼-mile as well as the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region over the decades from the program. Competing on an exact miniature replica of the famed high banked bullring the action is breathtaking.
