Todd Zeitler is looking forward to spending two nights with the Western Sprint Tour this weekend. The Medford native will take on the best 360 pilots of the Pacific Northwest region at Southern Oregon Speedway on Saturday May 23rd and Sunday the 24th at Cottage Grove. The Zeitler Brothers Chassis/Tom White Trucking/Brent's Custom Trucks/M.J. Bryer Truck Repair/Pacific Truck Centers #2Z Zeitler has made a couple of starts this year after the team had been dormant since July of 2012.

“Overall the year hasn't been too bad,” said Zeitler, “we hadn't raced in a few years and we really missed being out there. The first two races we've been mid-pack but we are looking to better ourselves this weekend.”

Todd's best finish in 2015 is a fifth at Southern Oregon Speedway on April 18th. His only other start in the current campaign resulted in a ninth at Cottage Grove Speedway on May 2nd. He knows a big task is at hand with the amount of talent that will be racing over the weekend.

“Our goal is to be competitive and stay positive,” he would continue, “If we can stay consistent and be competitive we can be in the hunt to win a race again.”

Not only is Southern Oregon Speedway his hometown but also a venue where Todd won the track championship back in 2001. He's excited to get a chance to perform in front of his fans and family on Saturday night.

“We've been decent here before in big races and we're just getting back into the swing of things.”

Southern Oregon Speedway, located in White City, will host the second race of the Western Sprint Tour season on Saturday May 23rd. Tickets are Adults $15.00, Seniors/Veterans $12.00, Juniors (6-12) $10.00, and Children 5 & Under are FREE. The action all starts around 7:00 PM.

Cottage Grove Speedway will be the final stop for the weekend on Sunday May 24th. Tickets are Adults $15.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $13.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $8.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Racing begins around 6:45 PM.
