Cottage Grove, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway will be in action for one last time in 2015 on Saturday September 26th. The fine folks at the Coors Brewing Company will be the presenting sponsor of Championship Night. It will be a full card with the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair divisions all competing on the 1/4-mile clay oval. Once all of the racing is done and over with there will be a Demolition Derby.

It's a tight contest in the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints with just thirty-nine markers separating Patrick Dills and Raquel Ivie. Dills is on his quest for his first career Sprint Car championship while Ivie won the title back in 2013.

Curtis Towns has managed to be the most dominant force in both Late Model and IMCA Modifieds. With his recent performances he has wrapped up the championships and will be going down as the first driver to ever win two championships in the same year at CGS in the modern era.

After decades of racing at both Eugene Speedway and Cottage Grove Gene Ashley never has won a championship. By starting his heat race that will get him closer to that reality for his first career title. Jimmy Owens trails him by just eight points.

By starting last week's main event in the Street Stocks Chris Sine pretty much locked up his championship. It is his first crown since his early days of racing at Madras Speedway in Central Oregon. Meanwhile in the Quality RV Repair Hornets by just showing up Chris Pierce will go down as the first ever repeat champion in the division.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
