Cottage Grove Speedway Set For Tuesday August 13th Week Of Speed Date; ISCS Sprints And Dwarf Cars In The House

Cottage Grove, Oregon- A rare weekday bout will be contested at Cottage Grove Speedway this Tuesday, August 13th. The date is reserved for the second annual “Week Of Speed” featuring both the Interstate Sprint Car Series and Dwarf Cars.
Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Time Trials at 5:30 with racing beginning at 6:00. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults, Seniors/Juniors/Military $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Children (5 & Under) are FREE. The ISCS Sprint Series has been to Cottage Grove Speedway twice in 2019. Tanner Holmes and Tyler Thompson were the two drivers to have successfully brought their respected mounts to victory. Overall, Tyler Thompson has four wins while Tanner Holmes has a total of two. Steven Snawder, Kinzer Cox, Ian Bandey, Camden Robustelli, and Jared Hood compile of the incredible list of drivers to have bested the field once.
The Dwarfs are coming off of a very successful first-ever Dwarf Car Nationals. Additionally, there have been two other Dwarf events at “The Grove,” and there has yet to be a repeat winner this season. Darren Brown, Ryan Winter, Josh King, and Danny Altom have finished first in main events. Getting wins in the Sportsman and Veteran categories last weekend were Kevin Miraglio, Kevin Bender, Jimmy Damron, and Teagan Fischer.
