Cottage Grove Speedway
Herz Precision Parts Non Wing Nationals September 6th & 7th!!
The BIGGEST Non-Wing event of the year is right around the corner! The payouts are bigger and so is the racing as Herz Precision Parts will be paying out bonus money totaling $4500.00!! We can't thank Mark Herz and HPP enough for the continued support of this race. Come out and join us as these Topless Terrors take on the 1/4 mile dirt oval September 6th & 7th!
HPP Non-Wing Nationals Format
Qualifying: Knock Out Qualifying
Cars will be divided into equal groups
top 2 cars in each group will advance to round 2
2nd round will determine qualifying for that group
remaining cars will qualify by time in their group
points awarded 150, 148, 146, ect
More explanation will be given on raceday
Heats:
top 6 inverted by time
points as follows:
1-36; 2-33; 3-30; 4-27; 5-24; 6-21; 7-18; 8-15
Friday A main:
Top 12 in points inverted
points as follows:
100, 98, 96, 94, 92, 90 etc
Saturday:
Heat races inverted by 6 to 8 cars depending on car count
points as follows:
36, 33, 30, 27, 24, 21, 18, 15
A-Main :
Line up by full invert (if B-Main is needed this will include those cars)
Points as follows: 150, 145, 140, 135, 130, 125, Continuing at a 5-point drop per position
All points will be totaled and pay out top 10 spots as follows
1st - $1000.00
2nd - $800.00
3rd - $650.00
4th - $500.00
5th - $400.00
6th - $300.00
7th - $250.00
8th - $200.00
9th - $200.00
10th - $200.00
Both Friday and Saturdays A-Main will be standard Payout
