Fully Loaded Championship Weekend Next For CGS; Racing Friday And Saturday Night

Cottage Grove, Oregon-Cottage Grove Speedway returns for an incredibly action-packed culminating two rounds on Friday, September 13th, and Saturday, the 14th. It is the final two nights of racing for 2019 at CGS.

Tickets each night are $13.00 for Adults, Seniors/Juniors/Military $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Children (5 & Under) are FREE. Both nights the Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Time Trials at 5:30 with racing beginning at 6:00. Shane Forte is looking to put the finishing touches on his third career, and second straight, Todd's Auto Body Sprint Car championship. Jake Mayden is also looking to make it two years in a row in the Mohawk Metal IMCA Modified division. Forte has a one-hundred-three point margin while Mayden's is forty-three.

Brian Smith heads into the final two races with forty-two markers separating him and Craig Hanson. David Schmidt has a bit of a lofty advantage over Doug Coffman with fifty-five points the difference.

For the Street Stocks, Kelly McDonald will try and extend his thirty-seven point lead over David Schmidt. Lastly, Brad Moffett has utterly comfortable one-hundred-seven points over current runner-up Barry Cannon.
